		- What is the project intended for? - The project intends to contribute to the implementation of the guidelines set by the Entrepreneurship Action Plan of the European Commission by means of a series of activities to support the competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and of micro companies, in particular when going international. The increased competition in the business world pushes SMEs and micro companies to face some critical issues, such as: the knowledge of the EU and international market rules; the proper management of own resources; the definition of clear internationalisation strategies; the management of transnational co-operation actions. The How to go international project means to provide its main target (SMEs and micro companies) with some tools which will enable them to overcome some difficulties when dealing with the above mentioned issues. The main relevance is given to the new markets which the further enlargement of the European Union will bring to a higher importance, such as the Turkish one. The project will then provide the local companies involved with concrete facilities with respect to doing business in the EU and in the Turkish markets.
